Eldon Milford Hagen passed peacefully on October 3, 2018 at the age of 95, with loving family surrounding him. Born April 29, 1923 in Mt Valley Township, he graduated from Ventura High School. He joined the Army Air Corps serving in the South Pacific during WW II, making lifetime friends. Following discharge he returned to Forest City, where he met the love of his life, Rozella Olson. They were married on June 24, 1950 at West Prairie Lutheran Church.

In 1963, the Hagen family moved to Thousand Oaks, CA where Eldon was accepted at the new California Lutheran College in a position managing the maintenance for all the music, athletic and drama activities. He remained there serving events and working with students until his retirement in 1990. Those were busy years with 6 lively children and much to be done in the CLC family. He worked closely with the Dallas Cowboy Football team during summers; becoming friends with coaches and players; later other athletic camps joined the summer schedule. He could often be found behind the wheel of their motor home driving friends and family to weekend games. Their retirement years took Eldon & Rozella back home to Iowa. Eldon was an active member at West Prairie Lutheran, Heritage Park of North Iowa, a North Iowa Winnebago RV travel club, Sons of Norway and his local VFW. In his later years he was on the go with RV trips visiting children & grandchildren. He was always ready to lend a hand with home improvements. They enjoyed travel to Europe with friends and discovering their roots in Scandinavia.

Eldon is survived by his wife, Rozella, children: Annette, Constance (Mark), Mark, Michael (Karen), Steven (Amy) and Scott; twelve grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness. Galatians 5:22
